Our mission is to better prepare McMaster University students for careers in business, while improving their knowledge about finance and writing skills.
We take a broad view of finance. Understanding that the market went up or down is meaningless if you don’t understand why it moved. The Financial Marauder provides the story behind the numbers. We believe this sort of analysis is most conducive to meaningful learning. In addition, our team also writes about career advice since we know how tough it is to break into finance.
If you’re a member of the Financial Marauder, you can write for the club too. We accept member submissions. Refer to our Submission page more information. We encourage members to get involved! Writing will improve your communication skills, help you learn more about the industry, and give you extracurricular experience that is both meaningful and productive.
Providing analysis and the opportunity for members to get involved are the main ways we are achieving our mission. We hope you join us for another great year and become a member.
